First seen Oct 31, 2025 · Last updated Apr 30, 2026 · Updated 26 times

Summary

This study aims to see if combining psychoeducational interventions (like counseling and self-help strategies) with an open-label placebo pill can better improve fatigue and quality of life in people with advanced metastatic cancer than either approach alone. About 240 adults with severe fatigue lasting at least two weeks will participate. The goal is to find a safe, non-drug way to ease a common and debilitating symptom.
