Study asks: what really stops cancer patients from exercising?
NCT ID NCT03919149
Summary
This study aimed to understand why many cancer patients don't exercise, even though it's known to improve well-being and outcomes. Researchers surveyed 261 French patients with breast, prostate, or colorectal cancer to identify the psychological and social factors that influence their activity levels. The goal was to learn what helps or prevents patients from being active at different stages—from diagnosis, through treatment, and into survival.
