This study surveyed over 3,000 US adults to see if explaining the many uncertainties around new cancer drugs changes how people decide about treatment. Participants read about a fictional lung cancer drug and rated how likely they would be to take it. The goal was to understand how clear communication about risks and benefits influences patient choices.
