New cancer drug enters first human safety tests
NCT ID NCT02952248
Summary
This early-stage trial tested a new drug called BI 754091 (ezabenlimab) in 110 adults with advanced solid tumors that had stopped responding to standard treatments. The main goal was to find the safest and most effective dose by carefully monitoring side effects. Researchers also looked for early signs that the drug could shrink tumors.
