Hidden danger: are cancer drugs seeping into Therapists' skin?
NCT ID NCT07328464
Summary
This study aims to find out if physiotherapists are being exposed to hazardous cancer drugs through their skin while caring for patients. Researchers will test 20 physiotherapists for drug traces in their urine and on their skin after they perform hands-on treatments like massage on patients who recently received chemotherapy. The goal is to understand the risk and work with therapists to develop better safety measures.
