Scientists test new drug cocktail in fight against tough cancers
NCT ID NCT00479128
Summary
This early-stage study aims to find the highest safe dose of three cancer drugs—gemcitabine, doxorubicin, and bortezomib—when given together. It is for people with advanced solid tumors or urethral cancer that cannot be removed by surgery and have not responded to standard treatments. The main goal is to see how much of this combination the body can handle before causing severe side effects.
