Scientists test new drug duo in fight against advanced cancers
NCT ID NCT01375829
Summary
This early-phase study is testing a combination of two cancer drugs, ixabepilone and temsirolimus, in adults with advanced solid tumors that have spread or cannot be removed by surgery. The main goals are to find the safest dose and understand the side effects of using these drugs together. Researchers hope this combination may work better to stop cancer cell growth than either drug alone.
