Could your next drink lower your cholesterol?

NCT ID NCT07026266

Summary

This study is testing whether drinking a specific type of mineral water (Lete, which is high in calcium and bicarbonate) can help lower 'bad' LDL cholesterol. It will compare this water to a regular mineral water in 160 healthy adults who have high cholesterol but are not taking cholesterol medications. The main goal is to see if this simple dietary change can be an effective way to manage cholesterol levels.
