A kiss to neutralize? study tests if kissing fights acidic drinks
NCT ID NCT06501729
Summary
This study aimed to see if kissing can help protect teeth from cavities. Researchers gave 45 healthy adults sugary or fermented drinks to make their mouths more acidic, which can weaken tooth enamel. They then tested if kissing a partner could make the mouth less acidic again faster than just waiting.
