Can a simple shoe insert ease flatfoot pain?
NCT ID NCT07755215
First seen Aug 10, 2026 · Last updated Aug 11, 2026 · Updated 1 time
Summary
This study tests whether wearing an insole or a medial arch support during a short walk can ease pain and change muscle stiffness in young adults with flatfoot. Ninety participants will be randomly assigned to one of two support devices or to a control group. Researchers will measure muscle properties and pain before and after a 30-minute treadmill walk to see if these simple supports offer immediate benefits.
