Simple online plan aims to give patients a voice in their own care
NCT ID NCT07084090
Summary
This study is testing whether a simple online tool can help patients speak up about safety concerns during medical care. Researchers will ask 10,000 UK adults to use an 'if-then' planning tool, which links specific situations to planned actions, to see if it increases how often they report concerns over a year. The goal is to understand if this brief, theory-based method can boost patient confidence and communication in healthcare settings.
