Wearable tech may stop diabetes before it starts
NCT ID NCT07455435
Summary
This study explores whether wearing a continuous glucose monitor (CGM) can motivate people with prediabetes to be more physically active. Researchers want to see if real-time blood sugar feedback encourages lifestyle changes, like walking more, to help prevent the development of type 2 diabetes. The study will involve 50 adults with prediabetes who will wear the monitor and track their activity for 20 days.
