Seeing red (or green or blue) to calm dental fears?
NCT ID NCT06452836
Summary
This study tested whether wearing glasses with colored lenses (green, red, or blue) could help reduce anxiety and pain for people having a tooth pulled. Researchers measured changes in anxiety, pain, heart rate, and stress hormones in 84 participants before and after they wore the glasses. The goal was to find a simple, non-drug way to make dental visits less stressful.
