Camp fun may boost Self-Esteem in kids battling cancer

Summary

This study explores whether a normal camping experience can improve the emotional well-being of children with cancer. About 5,000 kids aged 7-17 who are currently in treatment or up to 5 years post-therapy will attend a 7-day camp. Researchers will interview families and observe campers to measure changes in self-esteem and social interactions.
