First seen Feb 21, 2026 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 13 times

Summary

This study looks at whether a diet that includes intermittent fasting and plant-based protein can help cancer patients respond better to chemotherapy. About 30 adults with cancer who are already scheduled for chemotherapy will follow this diet on certain days before their treatment. The goal is to see if this approach is practical and if it might improve how well the chemotherapy works.
