Summary
This study tested a handheld device called CalmiGo to help people having anxiety or panic attacks in the emergency department. The device uses guided breathing, aromatherapy, and grounding techniques as a drug-free option. 35 adults used the device and filled out surveys before and after to see if their symptoms improved. The goal was to find a safe, non-medication way to manage anxiety in the ER.
