New therapy aims to ease the mental trauma of ovarian cancer
NCT ID NCT07286162
Summary
This study is testing if a special talk therapy called CALM-TF can help reduce traumatic stress in women with advanced ovarian cancer. It will involve 300 women who will either receive 3-6 therapy sessions plus their usual cancer care, or just their usual care alone. Researchers will compare the two groups to see if the therapy improves stress symptoms, depression, and quality of life over 6 months.
