Summary
This study is testing if taking calcium carbonate, a common supplement, can safely help improve contractions during labor. Researchers want to see if it leads to more vaginal deliveries and better health outcomes for mothers and newborns. The study is enrolling 60 first-time mothers who are being induced or having their labor strengthened with medication.
