New PET tracer could sharpen cancer detection for Hard-to-Image tumors
NCT ID NCT06735560
First seen Jan 09, 2026 · Last updated May 12, 2026 · Updated 14 times
Summary
This study is testing a new radioactive tracer called 89Zr-TLX250 to see if it can better detect liver cancers (hepatocellular carcinoma and intrahepatic cholangiocarcinoma) and pancreatic neuroendocrine tumors on PET-CT scans. About 60 adults with these cancers will receive the tracer and undergo imaging. The goal is to compare how many tumors the new scan finds versus standard imaging, and to check for side effects.
