Your coffee habit could be sabotaging your gym gains

NCT ID NCT07474753

Summary

This study looked at whether people's regular daily caffeine intake changes how effective a pre-workout coffee is for improving exercise performance. Researchers tested 69 athletes, giving them different doses of caffeinated coffee before measuring their strength, muscular endurance, sprint power, and mental focus. The goal was to understand if heavy daily coffee drinkers get less benefit from caffeine right before exercise compared to people who rarely consume it.
