First seen Apr 01, 2026 · Last updated May 17, 2026 · Updated 7 times
Summary
This study looked at how caffeine from capsules, chewing gum, or mouth rinse affects exercise performance in 14 healthy male recreational athletes aged 18-25. Each participant tried all three forms in random order to measure their aerobic (endurance) and anaerobic (short burst) performance. The goal was to see if the way you take caffeine changes how it helps your workout.
