First seen May 04, 2026 · Last updated May 18, 2026 · Updated 2 times
Summary
This study looked at how different amounts of caffeine affect physical and cognitive performance in 20 female handball players. Each player tried a placebo, a low dose (3 mg/kg), and a moderate dose (6 mg/kg) of caffeine. The goal was to see if caffeine improves running, reaction time, and throwing speed. Results may help athletes and coaches decide how much caffeine to use before games or training.
