Higher caffeine dose could help tiniest babies breathe easier
NCT ID NCT07216365
Summary
This study aims to find the best caffeine dose to help extremely premature babies breathe better and avoid serious complications. Researchers will compare a higher dose to the standard dose in 40 infants born before 28 weeks. The goal is to see if the higher dose improves oxygen levels and reduces lung and brain problems without causing more side effects.
