First seen Feb 01, 2026 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 13 times
Summary
This study looked at whether a caffeinated drink with electrolytes and carbs helps cyclists perform better and think clearer during exercise. 26 healthy, active adults did cycling tests and cognitive tasks after drinking different beverages. The goal was to see if the caffeinated sports drink improves endurance, strength, and mental focus compared to plain water or non-caffeinated versions.
