First seen Feb 05, 2026 · Last updated May 14, 2026 · Updated 18 times
Summary
This study looks at whether an AI tool (CADx) can help doctors more accurately identify small colorectal polyps (≤5 mm) during a colonoscopy. Over 360 doctors with experience using a special imaging technique (NBI) are participating. The goal is to see if AI assistance helps doctors meet accuracy standards, which could allow some polyps to be left in place or removed without lab testing.
