First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 13, 2026 · Updated 34 times

Summary

This study looked at how well the Cadence Total Ankle System works over time for people with severe ankle arthritis. Researchers followed 61 patients who had ankle replacement surgery to see how long the implant lasted and if it improved movement and daily function. The study was stopped early, but the results help doctors understand the long-term safety and performance of this artificial ankle joint.
