Summary
This study tested a new technique using custom-made bone blocks (from donated bone) to rebuild the upper front jaw and place dental implants at the same time. Twenty adults with bone loss from failed implants were treated and followed for 18 months. The goal was to see if this approach provides enough bone support for long-lasting implants.
