Summary
This study looks back at the medical records of 20,000 people with lung or gastrointestinal cancer who also have cachexia (severe weight loss and muscle wasting). The goal is to learn how doctors currently treat this condition and what affects patients' outcomes. No new treatments are given—the researchers are simply gathering information to improve future care.
