Cancer weight loss study also measures caregiver stress

Summary
This study measures how often cancer patients experience cachexia (unintentional weight loss and loss of appetite) and the emotional burden on both patients and their primary caregivers. Researchers will track 192 patients and their caregivers at an outpatient supportive care clinic. The goal is to better understand these issues so new ways to reduce stress can be developed.
