First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 25, 2026 · Updated 37 times

Summary

This study tested the drug cabozantinib in 41 adults with advanced thyroid cancer that stopped responding to radioactive iodine. The main goal was to find genetic markers in the blood that might predict how well the drug works. Researchers also tracked tumor shrinkage and how long patients lived without their cancer getting worse.
