Summary
This study tested the safety and best dosing of a drug called cabozantinib for people with advanced liver cancer (hepatocellular carcinoma). It involved 110 patients whose cancer had progressed after trying the standard first-line treatment, sorafenib. The main goal was to see how well patients tolerated the drug and to monitor their survival while on this new treatment option.
