New hope for lung cancer patients with rare gene mutations

Summary
This study tests a pill called cabozantinib in people with advanced non-small cell lung cancer that has certain gene changes (RET, ROS1, NTRK fusions or increased MET/AXL activity). The drug targets these changes to shrink tumors and stop them from growing. About 86 participants will take the drug to see how well it works and what side effects occur.
