New hope for women suffering from painful C-Section scars
NCT ID NCT07271056
Summary
This study tested whether giving a dissolving tablet called misoprostol before a minor surgery could make the procedure more effective and safer. The surgery aims to fix a problematic scar in the uterus from a past cesarean section that causes prolonged bleeding and pain. Researchers compared the outcomes for 56 women who received the medication to those who received a placebo pill before their procedure.
