Better C-Section pain relief? study tests two spinal additives

NCT ID NCT06418308

Summary

This study compares two medications (epinephrine and dexmedetomidine) when added to spinal anesthesia during planned cesarean sections. Researchers want to see if one provides longer-lasting pain relief without more side effects. The trial involves 62 pregnant patients having scheduled C-sections to measure how long pain relief lasts and how quickly patients recover movement.
