Study tests which drug better stops Post-C-Section sickness

NCT ID NCT05692245

Summary

This study aimed to find the best first-choice medication to prevent nausea and vomiting after a cesarean delivery (C-section). Researchers compared two commonly used and safe drugs, ondansetron and dexamethasone, in 100 healthy women having the procedure. They measured which drug was more effective at controlling these unpleasant symptoms and if one also helped reduce pain after surgery.
