New C-Section anesthesia mix aims for longer pain relief
NCT ID NCT07465185
Summary
This study is testing whether adding a drug called dexmedetomidine to standard spinal anesthesia for planned C-sections can make the pain relief last longer and improve recovery. Researchers will compare the two approaches in 300 women having elective C-sections. The main goal is to see if the new combination is at least as good as the standard method for pain control.
