First seen Jan 09, 2026 · Last updated Apr 25, 2026 · Updated 17 times

Summary

This study tests whether contrast-enhanced mammography (CEM) can find breast cancers that standard mammography might miss in women with dense breasts. About 1,000 women aged 30-75 with dense breasts will get both types of mammograms. The goal is to see if CEM improves early detection and risk assessment.
