Summary
This study tests a new prevention approach for C. difficile, a serious hospital infection that causes over 29,000 deaths yearly. Researchers will identify patients carrying the bacteria without symptoms and give them a personalized prevention package. The goal is to stop these carriers from developing full infections or spreading the bacteria to other patients.
