First seen Oct 31, 2025 · Last updated Jun 11, 2026 · Updated 30 times
Summary
This study compares two treatments for people with long blockages (15-25 cm) in the main leg artery that cause pain when walking. About 290 adults will be randomly assigned to either bypass surgery or a less invasive endovascular procedure. The goal is to see which treatment keeps the artery open longer over two years.
