NCT ID NCT07520851
First seen May 03, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 5 times
Summary
This study tests whether the Buzzy System, a vibrating ice pack shaped like a bee, can reduce pain and fear in children aged 3 to 10 during the removal of pins from an elbow fracture. About 75 children will be enrolled, and researchers will measure pain and anxiety using face-based rating scales. The goal is to find a simple, non-drug way to make the procedure more comfortable.
