NCT ID NCT07289581
Summary
This study is testing whether adding butyric acid supplements to standard anorexia treatment helps patients gain weight and recover better. Fifty women with anorexia will receive either the supplement or a placebo for three months while continuing their regular therapy. Researchers will track weight changes, eating disorder symptoms, and gut health to see if the supplement makes a difference.
