Summary

This study looked at 140 intensive care unit (ICU) healthcare workers to see if burnout and stress are linked to signs of inflammation in the blood. Participants completed surveys about their mental well-being and gave blood samples to measure inflammatory markers. The goal was to understand how job-related stress might affect physical health, but no treatment or intervention was tested.
