First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 13, 2026 · Updated 25 times

Summary

This study tests whether a natural chitosan-based dressing helps children's burns heal faster and with less scarring than standard silver dressings. About 40 children aged 6 months to 17 years with minor burns will be randomly assigned to one of the two dressings. The goal is to find a more comfortable and effective way to treat burns.
