New hope for relieving the torment of itchy burn scars

NCT ID NCT06801626

Summary

This study aims to find a better way to reduce the intense itch that often comes with healed burn scars. Researchers are comparing the standard itch medication (Benadryl) against Benadryl plus two other drugs (Pepcid and a special lotion). The goal is to see if this three-medicine combination provides stronger, longer-lasting relief for adults suffering from itchy scars.
