Summary
This study aims to understand how a simulated burn injury affects the body's ability to cool down after exercising in the heat. Researchers will compare how quickly body temperature and heart rate return to normal in the same healthy adults with and without a special material that mimics a burn on their skin. The goal is to learn if people with burn injuries recover from heat stress more slowly, which could help improve care for burn survivors.
