First seen Nov 19, 2025 · Last updated Apr 30, 2026 · Updated 18 times

Summary

This study compares a new powder dressing (Altrazeal) to standard dressings for treating partial-thickness burns. About 60 adults with recent burns covering less than 20% of their body will be randomly assigned to one of the two dressings. The main goal is to see if the new dressing reduces pain during changes and helps wounds heal faster.
