New lupus drug candidate enters early human testing

Summary
This early-stage study is testing a new drug called budoprutug in 30 adults with active lupus who haven't responded well to other treatments. The main goal is to check if the drug is safe and how the body processes it. Researchers will also look for early signs that it might help control the disease.
