Summary
This study tests a new phototherapy device called BUBOLight® for treating jaundice in newborns. Jaundice causes yellowing of the skin and, if severe, can lead to brain damage. The device uses two removable strips of light-emitting fabric to deliver phototherapy. The study will enroll 15 full-term or near-term babies to see if the device is safe, well-tolerated, and comfortable for both babies and parents.
