First seen Apr 09, 2026 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 6 times

Summary

This early-stage study looks at how the body processes buagafuran, an experimental anxiety medication, in people with liver impairment compared to those with healthy livers. 24 adults will take a single dose to measure drug levels and safety. The goal is to understand dosing needs for patients with liver issues, not to treat anxiety directly.
