First seen Apr 09, 2026 · Last updated Jun 23, 2026 · Updated 13 times
Summary
This early-stage study looks at how the drug buagafuran (AF-5) behaves in people with liver impairment compared to those with normal liver function. Twenty-four adults will receive a single 30 mg dose, and researchers will measure drug levels in the blood and monitor safety. The goal is to understand if liver problems affect how the drug is processed, which could guide future dosing for anxiety.
